The Friends of Hove Lagoon wanted to create a new destination for Brighton & Hove which would enhance the local area and attract wildlife to this much loved green space.
This crowd-funded project originally started in 2018 and has been through a long process of consultation. The first phase of planting was completed in Spring 2021 and the aim is to extend the design over the coming years as more funds are raised.
