The steeply sloping site presented a real challenge for this new garden in Roedean (Brighton), but also offered incredible coastal views.
Rather than fight the slope, the design works with it, using a series of terraces to create usable spaces at different levels. Water flows down through the garden, linking the terraces and making the most of the changes in height.
The garden also includes a sheltered spa area and a garden office overlooking the new planting.
