Working for fashion retailer BrandAlley, we developed a garden full of contrasting textures. The birch log stumpery was an idea based on fabric fibres viewed under a microscope. Although generally unseen, water flowed through the stumps making this an ideal wildlife habitat. The off-white painted timber boundaries and polished concrete were also successful.
