The garden is located adjacent to Chichester Harbour, a wildlife haven rich in marine biodiversity. With its colony of seals, extensive seagrass meadows, and salt marshes, the harbour supports a wide range of migratory birds and other marine life, offering a direct connection to the natural beauty and conservation value of the surroundings. Inspired by this diverse ecosystem, we aimed to create a similarly rich habitat within the new garden, blending low-maintenance elements with features that would support local wildlife.

The house, designed by Randell Design Group, required a garden that would ground it within the site. While the swimming pool establishes a strong linear form, the landscaping offers contrast and dynamism with mounds and organic shapes, echoing the natural diversity of the nearby harbour.
